We value community outreach.

Specially-trained staff and volunteer speakers are available free of charge to any size group during daytime or evening hours and presentations can take place in a home, office or other community setting. A comfortable format can be designed to meet your groups’ needs. Frequently requested presentations include:

  • Informal talks about Midwest CareCenter services.
  • Formal lectures about a healthcare topic of interest.
  • Q & A sessions about issues related to the care we provide.

A venue for your group

Consider holding your meeting at our Glenview campus or one of our regional offices. We have rooms that are appropriate for large or small gatherings. We charge no fee to community groups for use of Midwest CareCenter space.

Reaching out to your faith community

As a friend of Midwest CareCenter, you are invited to help us expand our outreach by encouraging your congregational leadership to consider:

  • Remembering our patients and their families in congregational prayers.
  • Encouraging members to become hospice volunteers.
  • Taking a special offering to help cover the $1.5 million costs incurred for care of those who have inadequate or no insurance.
  • Scheduling a hospice speaker or presentation for your congregation.

We can provide printed materials and trained speakers to engage your faith community. Contact Craig Dresang, VP of community development, if you have any questions about how you can help more individuals in your community access hospice, palliative care or grief support. He can be reached at
