We understand, and we can help.

One of these statements may describe you or your loved one:

I have a serious illness, and the treatments I receive create even more challenges for me.

I have a progressive condition that limits my independence. I can no longer do many things I enjoy.

I wonder: Are there medical treatments, procedures or supportive therapies that can help make my life better?

Palliative Care Services is a clinical consultation service that helps your doctor manage your care when you have a serious illness. The members of our care team are experienced specialists. We can help you if you expect full recovery, are living with an age-related or progressive illness or have an illness that is potentially terminal.

Working closely with you, your family and caregivers as well as the doctors and others overseeing your treatment, we:

  • Establish an active system to give you physical, emotional and spiritual support through your treatment and recovery.
  • Help relieve your pain and other distressing symptoms.
  • Help improve your ability to function.

Medicare and Medicaid cover the consultative services of our palliative care specialists. Private insurance coverage varies, but we can work with you to explain and evaluate payment options. We also offer charity care and financial assistance to qualified patients.

To find out how Palliative Care Services can help you, call us for a consultation. We will meet with you and your family at home, in the hospital, at an outpatient office, or at the assisted living or long-term care center where you live.
