As a community-based nonprofit organization, Midwest CareCenter has provided care and support to patients and their families since 1978. We were founded by a group of community members who wanted to find an alternative for individuals facing a life-threatening illness. Thanks to the support of our community, there are a number of ways to become involved with Midwest CareCenter.
With quality standards above the national average, we provide a uniquely sophisticated approach to treating what you’re facing now. Primary caregivers have scored our care as “excellent” ranking us above the Illinois and national two-year average. Families also rate our overall care and our evening and weekend support as “excellent,” putting us in the top tier of the nation’s hospice programs.
Midwest CareCenter hosts a variety of events for the community, including support groups, volunteer training, fundraisers and art exhibits and receptions in our Atrium Gallery.
Our Board of Directors includes some of our community's most dedicated leaders as well as individuals whose loved ones have benefited from the program. They lend their time and expertise to providing guidance and oversight to the organization in a voluntary role because they share the organization’s commitment to those who need access to care.
