In-service programs
Midwest CareCenter is committed to educating healthcare and other professionals. We offer experienced professionals trained in adult education who can address a variety of topics related to palliative care, end-of-life healthcare and hospice. Some of our speakers are nationally certified trainers with the EPEC Project (Education on Palliative and End-of-Life Care) of Northwestern University and/or with ELNEC (End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium) of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
In-service education is offered for employees of healthcare facilities, professional groups, pastoral or clinical staff. Social work CEUs are available for some of the presentations.
