Director, Performance Improvement

Jill Koons

In her role as director of Performance Improvement, Jill Koons directs and oversees the Midwest CareCenter quality improvement and compliance program. Her responsibilities include facilitating clinical performance improvement, managing regulatory and accreditation compliance as well as supporting organization leadership in establishing efficient key processes. Ms. Koons also serves as the organization’s compliance officer. 

Ms. Koons has been with Midwest CareCenter since March of 2008. She previously had worked at Coram Specialty Infusion Services as the director of Corporate Ethics & Compliance. She also spent more than 15 years with Baxter Healthcare Corporation where she held a variety of global quality positions. Ms. Koons is a trained project management professional and an ISO-trained lead auditor, and also has had Six Sigma Green Belt training. She received a Customer Satisfaction Award in 2000 for customer focus as an internal quality consultant supporting R&D design groups. 

Ms. Koons has a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University in management and a master of science in communication from Northwestern University.
