Heidi Schelling, MHA

Heidi Schelling oversees the Business Development and Communications/PR departments of Midwest CareCenter. She is also leading the development and construction of the organization's hospice inpatient pavilion (construction to begin March 2011).

Ms. Schelling’s more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and business development include positions in the pharmaceutical, provider, managed care/insurance and consulting sectors. Most recently, she served as managed care organization team leader for Searle Pharmaceutical/Pharmacia and senior vice president for Northwestern Healthcare Network. Her desire to return to work in nonprofit human services brought her to Midwest CareCenter in January 2003.

Ms. Schelling earned a master’s degree in health administration and planning from Washington University in St. Louis, and her bachelor’s degree is from the University of Rochester.
