Chief Financial Officer

David C. Bruce, CPA

With more than 20 years’ experience in directing and operating U.S. and global businesses, David Bruce joined Midwest CareCenter in 2008 as chief financial officer. At Midwest CareCenter, Mr. Bruce oversees all organizational financial activities, including accounting and business planning operations, accounts receivable and payable and the financial audit function. He also supervises the Purchasing Department.

From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Bruce served as vice president and controller for the Milwaukee-based Journal Broadcast Group, a $220 million television and radio broadcast company with 46 stations across the U.S.

He served in a number of roles over 20 years at Baxter International, including vice president of finance for disease management and outpatient surgery center businesses. He won the Baxter Finance Leadership Award in 2005 for his strategic guidance during organizational leadership changes and the Baxter Finance Innovation Award in 2001 for development of a medical cost analysis process for disease management.

After graduating summa cum laude from Indiana University, Mr. Bruce received an MBA from the University of Chicago and is a certified public accountant in Illinois.
